and "non-accredited" investors.
An "accredited" investor is:

An individual with a net worth, individually or jointly with a spouse, of at least $1,000,000; or,

An individual who has had individual income in the past two years and who reasonably expects to have income during the current year in excess of $200,000 per year; or,

An individual who, together with that individual's spouse, had joint income in the past two years and who reasonably expects to have joint income in the current year in excess of $300,000 per year.
